  • The main celebrations will take place on December 16th, 18th, and 20th, 2026.

  • Yes, that is absolutely okay. We would be so grateful to have you attend whichever events you can!

  • Please RSVP no later than September 1st. But please reach out to us if you need more time!

  • Wedding events will be held across the city at various locations including: the Khan residence, Karachi Parsi Institute, and Beach Luxury Hotel.

  • All major events will be held outdoors at various times of the day. We will provide ample shade and airflow, but anticipate the heat. We recommend sunglasses and sunscreen.

  • December in Karachi is pleasant, warm, and dry, with daily highs around 27–28ºC (80–82ºF) and chilly nights, with lows dropping to 12–16ºC (53–61ºF), often bringing a refreshing northeasterly breeze. It is the best times to visit, with minimal rain and mostly sunny days.

  • We are in the process of securing exclusive rates for our guests at Pearl Continental Karachi and Karachi Marriott Hotel. Once secured, please use the dedicated booking links on our "Accommodation" page to reserve a room.

  • Most nationalities will require a visa for entry into Pakistan. See our visa page for more information.

  • The nearest and only airport is Jinnah International Airport (KHI) in Karachi. It is about 30 minutes to both hotels, traffic dependent.

  • Most likely, your hotel will coordinate transportation upon your arrival. We will be sure to take care of anyone this does not apply to.

  • You can have your hotel arrange a rental car with a provided driver for the day.

  • We will organize a shuttle from the hotels to the event venues. There will be a designated pick up point at each hotel and shuttles will run on a regular schedule.

  • The local currency is the Pakistani Rupee (PKR). While credit cards are widely accepted at larger shops, it is advisable to carry some local currency for smaller markets and local experiences.

  • There will be currency exchanges at the hotel. If you are connecting through Dubai International Airport, there are also currency exchange counters there.

  • Restaurants: 5-10%, no more than 1000 PKR for entirety of meal

    Household Helpers: 1000 PKR total for entirety of stay

    Hotel Helpers: 500 PKR total for entirety of stay

    Cab/Uber/Rickshaw Drivers: No tips

    Wedding Staff: No tips

  • Upon RSVPing we will add you to our wedding communication WhatsApp group that will inform you of event start times, locations, shuttle pickups, etc.

  • Don’t stress! We are putting together a detailed attire guide for each event with color palettes, inspo, and links to various retailers. Feel free to send your outfit contenders to Ariella if you need another pair of eyes!
